Discovery Communications is going to launch its own new channel to make its young audience in India. Swami Baba Ramdev, The Untold Story, Biopic will be seen in 65 installments on the name of the Discovery JEET channel. It will show how an unknown person first became very popular at the national and then international level and now the business is transformed into Mughal.
Karan Bajaj, Senior Vice President of Discovery Network Asia Pacific, said that the purpose of launching this channel is to present realistic content to the Indian audience. Other programs on this will be based on the real events of crime, so there will be a lot of programs for fun.
Among the programs which have been selected for the channel are ‘Saragarhi-India’s Breast Day’, ‘Gabbaru-the Birth of Hip Hap’ and ‘Gangs of Mumbai’.
